WARNING
3D animations, text and photos of plastic surgery are presented below for general information purposes.
They have become "classic" procedures and in no way commit the surgeons represented on this page to practising either of these surgical techniques. (The photos of these videos are not patients of the surgeons on this page).
Qualified surgeons apply different methods (personal or general, obtained and developed after long years of study). During your visit to his office, feel free to ask about your surgeon’s operating technique.
Learned societies involved in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery are constantly working to design and develop the various techniques used in different surgical techniques of reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. This ongoing improvement of the interventions is related to the reevaluation by surgeons, and allows patients to benefit from quality care.

Face and neck lift
Eternal youth and beauty is one of the oldest dreams of humanity. But although with a facelift you can apparently lose ten years in age, it does not prevent aging.
Through a facelift it is possible to correct sagging facial and neck features associated with aging.
A facelift is an operation that involves altering any loosening and appearance of the face.
It does not act on bags under the eyes or wrinkles, which will be the subject of other procedure, blepharoplasty for eyelids, and endoscopic brow lift for forehead wrinkles.
This intervention, the facelift, aims to overcome the collapse of tissues at the facial contour as well as the excess skin and fat in the neck in order to get a natural result.

Characteristics of different facelifts:
- The face and neck lift, treats the middle and lower face such as the cheeks, jowls, neck, « bitterness » furrows and naso-labial folds.
- The face and neck lipolifting, combines a face and neck lift with the reinjection of fat.
- The temporal lift, as its name suggests, concern the temples and the outer corner of the eyelids.
- The frontal lift treats the forehead according to the extent to which it has loosened and depth of the wrinkles.
- The subcutaneous facelift for dealing with excess skin in the elderly.
- The submuscular lift is used when it is necessary to act in the muscle layer, often as complement to the sub-cutaneous facelift.
Only a surgeon qualified in aesthetic surgery can assess the procedure most adapted to your case.
Face and neck lift
The surgeon makes a discrete incision hidden in the contour of the ear, and then dissects, depending on the case: under the skin, under the skin-fat layer or under the muscle. After adjustment of the deeper layers and the deep muscular system, the surgeon will remove any excess skin.
The procedure:
This procedure requires general anaesthesia
The surgery takes about two to three hours, and 24 to 48 hours of hospitalization
Postoperative symptoms:
- Face and neck lift:
Some swelling and bruising may appear for about 15 days.
- Temporal lift:
This lifting corrects sagging of the tail of the eyebrow, crow’s feet wrinkles, sagging of the cheek bone region and the collapse of the external angle of the eye.
The incision is hidden in the hair. After detachment and readjustment of surplus of skin, the surgeon sutures the skin. Associated with aesthetic eyelid surgery, the rejuvenation effect is stronger.
- Frontal lift:
This lifting tightens the muscles of the forehead, and corrects and softens wrinkles and any ptosis of the eyebrows. The surgeon can complete the procedure by filling the wrinkles.
The incision is made in the hair, from one ear to the other.
After peeling the skin downwards, the surgeon cuts off the fibres of the frontal muscle and the muscle between the eyebrows. He tightens up the skin to smooth it, then removes the excess skin.
The procedure:
If only the wrinkles are treated, and not the eyebrow ptosis, the procedure requires only local anaesthesia.
In that case the procedure takes approximately one hour.
Postoperative symptoms:
The temporal lift is a relatively large surgery, and a decrease of the scalp sensitivity may persist for some time.
Rhinoplasty
The image and the nature of a character are often conveyed, as Cyrano de Bergerac recounted so well, by this appendix called The Nose.
While the nose affirms the personality of a person, it can also be the determining feature in conveying, by its lack of grace, the idea than an individual is evil.
Rhinoplasty is an operation that consists of modifying the structure and shape of the nose.
Some breathing difficulties can be resolved by surgery on the nasal septum.
A procedure to alter the shape aims to harmonize the nose with the face to obtain a natural result.

Rhinoplastie, d’un nez trop long :
